Like other AAS, boldenone is an agonist of the androgen receptor (AR). The activity of boldenone is mainly anabolic , with a low androgenic potency. Boldenone will increase nitrogen retention, protein synthesis, increases appetite and stimulates the release of erythropoietin in the kidneys. Boldenone was synthesized in an attempt to create a long-acting injectable metandienone , for androgen deficiency disorders. Boldenone acts similar to metandienone with fewer adverse androgenic effects. [ medical citation needed ] Although commonly compared to nandrolone , boldenone lacks progesterone receptor interaction and associated progestogenic side effects.
Anabolic steroid implants are allowed for veterinary use. But if someone diverts this for use in humans, it will be deemed as a distribution of a Schedule III drug leading to prosecution. The law on trenbolone differs in other countries. For instance, in Canada it is a Schedule IV drug. In Canada, all anabolic steroids are classified as Schedule IV drugs. In the UK, anabolic steroids are classified as Class C substances. Their possession can lead to a 2 year jail term, while their production and supply can lead to a 14 year jail term. But many countries do not have strict laws. In some places, you can even buy it over the counter.
While trenbolone may be beneficial for small animals and cattle, its effect on the human cardiovascular system are not nearly as cut and dry. Many trenbolone complain of a temporary reduction in pulmonary and cardiovascular capacity while using trenbolone. When the drug is discontinued, so too does this affect. The higher the dosage, the higher the rise of cardiovascular/pulmonary effects. The steroid seems to affect bronchial constriction, making it harder to suck in copious amounts of oxygen, especially when working out. Individuals diagnosed with asthma or other lung conditions should avoid use of any drug that restricts pulmonary function.
